I used a round stamp from Rox Stamps and stamped directly on the card in the upper right corner.
The sentiment which was stamped with a Reprint stamp, were cut out with a Nested Lacey Pennants die.

A couple of buttons and a piece of ball fringe was added, together with some flowers in the upper left corner.

I used this weeks sketch over at Sketch N Stash, and some Spring Time papers from last years Inkido collection.

The image frame was made with one Nestabilities Romantic Rectangles die.
I do not remember from where the lower sentiment stamp comes from, but the one at the top is made with a Dear Lizzy roller stamp.

Do What You Love

måndag 11 mars 2013

Hello friends!
Today I will show you a card in the so-called clean and simple style. It was a very long time since I tried it at all.
But I thought the challenge at Less is More this week could be something to try, one layer with spots and stripes.
All right then, here it is....

I used horse stamps from Inkadinkado, they are fantastic.
I combined them with a stamp with spots from Norsk Stempelblad Art Journaling 5th.

For the sentiment, I simply took out my old typewriter. Yes, it is great fun!

Then I simply sponged the edges with a couple of Distress inks. And that´s it!

I think I try this card for some other challenges too:
Make It Monday - Anything Goes
Stampin Royalty - Clean and Simple

Have a continued good week!
Hugs, Birgit

Happy Easter

tisdag 5 mars 2013

Hello, thank you for stopping by today!
This time I thought to hang on this month's  Easter challenge over at StampARTic.
Here is my take on it.

Things I used are old butterfly papers from Panduro, and a vintage image from Pion Design.
The tag is a freebe I found at Astrids Artistc Efforts.

The little yellow rose was mounted in 3D and placed in the left corner.
It became nicely, I think, the yellow color is so beautiful.

The bird was also cut out from a Crafty Individuals paper and adhered to my card.

The eggs were cut out from different left over pieces of paper with one oval Spellbinders die.

The sentiment are computer made, and then cut out with one Shapeabilities Nested Lacey Pennants.
Here you get a little peek on the inside too. I wanted to see some more of the lovely butterflies they give me springfeelings.

I´d like to enter this card in a few more challenges:
Make It Monday - Anything Goes
Kreative Stempelfreunde - Springcolours
Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything Goes

I hope you have a great day!

Two Creative Guys

söndag 3 mars 2013

Hi there!
I've had a couple of boys with me, who absolutely wanted to make some cards.
So we played together at the kitchen table for a while and the boys were sometimes deeply concentrated ...

And actually there was a card made by me too, very easily done with the help of some stickers. The stickers were very popular by the guys too ...

I used the sketch from Stampin Royalty just because it was so simple that I remembered it in my head.
I´m also entering Cute Card Thursday - Something Old (wery old supplies:) and
Stampin with the Dragon - Anything Goes

And this is what the boys did ...OK, it was nice front and back sides as well, but most ended up in the middle:)

That's all from me today. Hope you have a nice day!
Hugs, Birgit
